Mentally Deficient

Sometimes referred to as "Mentally defective" or even "Mentally decrepit".

Perhaps the most frequent complaints towards subject matter of something on the whole wiki. Found at the start of the FAQ in the Quickstart 1-119 Guide, it has been the source of countless, and sometimes weekly threads or posts. Though that most often only takes place on r/FFXI which speaks for itself.
Ironically, this somehow for years has never expanded past the comment itself to the (possibly) offensive meme page it links to. Showing that you can guide a horseface to water, but you can't make it read. No wonder compressing the entire experience into a comprehensive, but manageable path alongside missions is still somehow confusing to people. Sometimes it is just best to just give up on hope for hope as already abandoned your proclivities.

The public whining over it could be summed up as a glaring example of entitlement due to how miniscule, meaningless, and trivially stupid it is. It is unfortunate that the spirit and sensibilities of some are so brittle that one need to flaunt their inability to handle adversity in an MMO, let alone life itself. Sarcasm may then just be the most selective of privileges. As too is the unilateral display permitted of ones feelings upon their distilation to a tongue-in-cheek nature. There is looking a gift horse in the mouth, and then there is crying into said mouth.
